Customer Focus

 

Hi-Tech Welding and Forming has migrated from a Mil-I-45208 quality system to ISO9002 to ISO9001:2000 AS9100 over the last 4 years.  This has been an incredible journey of discovery and growth in an amazing period of time.  In this same period we went from 5 employees to 47 and everything that goes along with rapid growth for an aerospace company.  We not only had the internal quality systems to grow, quality manuals to write, rewrite, procedures and etc., but we have also gone thru the same growth with our customers certification programs.  Our customers have journeyed with us and help facilitate our growth by certifying our new processes and procedures as we vertically integrated into full product design capability.  Today we are constantly auditing our processes, systems and completed work for improvement.  We have learned thru experience that this effort is well worth the cost and additional effort required we gain valuable insight into areas of possible future improvement.

Some of our management level thinking is as follows;

Management Commitment

The management of Hi-Tech Welding and Forming is committed to the development and implementation of the quality management system and continually improving its effectiveness.  We are doing this by:

  1. Communicating to all of our employees and contractors the importance of meeting our customer as well as our statutory and regulatory requirements.
  2. Establishing the quality policy and ensuring the policy is communicated to all involved.
  3. Ensuring that our quality objectives are established to meet our goals.
  4. Conducting regularly scheduled management reviews of our quality system.
  5. And ensuring we have the best available resources to do the task required.
