5-Axis CNC Vertical Mill
NEW 5-Axis HAAS VR-11B on line and ready for action!
February 2, 2005 -- Our new CNC 5-Axis mill is incredible.
The Haas VR-11 5-axis profiling VMC provides a cost-effective solution for large 5-axis machining operations. With standard travels of 120" x 40" x 30" (3048 mm x 1016 mm x 762 mm), the VR-11 features a fully enclosed, gimbal-design 5-axis spindle to protect gears from chips and coolant while providing ±32 degrees of travel on the A and B axes.
The 32-pocket automatic tool changer swings out of the enclosure for unobstructed machining, and the 30-hp, high-torque spindle features a vector drive for the absolute best performance throughout the entire performance range.
