Company ProfileHi-Tech Welding and Forming was founded in 1984 as a job shop welding company. Today the company has grown to a full service fabricator capable of component design to full fabrication of complex assemblies. We specialize in difficult fabrications requiring innovative approaches to the fabrication. Many of the designs we work on were only concepts until we helped the customer come up with a fabrication method. We are especially known for our ability to fabricate just about anything in titanium. We have developed a newly patented process for super-plastic forming titanium, which is redefining where we can use titanium. We have converted many components from other metals to titanium utilizing this process because of its reduced cost and increased part complexity and overall part size. Hi-Tech Welding and Forming is active in many organizations in the process of creating the specifications and standards used by the metals fabrication industry. We actively set on committees like the American Welding Society (AWS), The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and many others. We also contribute in education programs and help foster students and colleges to learn about titanium and new welding technologies. As a company with over 25 years of experience we are constantly reviewing and improving our quality program. Today we are an ISO 9001-2001 and AS9100 registered company with the prestigious Performance Review Institute (PRI) and fully NADCAP (National Aerospace Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) accredited. We are customer certified to do a wide range of manufacturing processes and non-destructive testing procedures with companies like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Solar Turbines, Honeywell, Raytheon, Boeing and many others.
